Partner: New Mexico Civic Engagement Table

NMCET, a project of the Center for Civic Policy, is a key member of the NM Counts 2020 Collaboration and is leading development of the civic engagement strategy of the New Mexico Counts 2020 plan. The principle components of the Census civic engagement plan will include a Get-Out-the-Count (GOTC) campaign, a state legislative appropriations campaign, and the creation of a Complete Count Committee for the non-profit civic engagement sector, other non-governmental stakeholders and Tribal governments.

The plan’s major activities and special programs include engaging stakeholders and allies, organizing resources, conducting research, education and advocacy, mobilizing partnerships with nonprofit, community groups, Tribal partners, grassroots training, grantmaking, and field-level communications to meet unique needs in New Mexico within hard-to-count (HTC) communities.
